A few days ago, the entire 3rd-phase project of oriented silicon steel production line of Baosteel was fully completed, which marked the above-mentioned line has reached an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. Having gone into production, the oriented silicon steel line paved the way for Baosteel to obtained advantageous scale effect, to create the conditions to optimize the organization of production, to lower manufacturing costs; it also further enhance the competitiveness of the products made by Baosteel in the market.
On June 15th, 2011, it started to build up the 3rd-phase project of oriented silicon steel line. Oriented to the "high quality in engineering, excellent cadres in project team," the 3rd-phase project team pushed forward the project construction orderly, the talented and rich experienced key staff were selected from various construction units, they upheld the spirit of high quality of consturcion strictly and took working attitude positively from engineering and design, manufacture, construction to supervision based on coordination and high efficiency. As the project owner, the Silicon Steel Business Unit of Baosteel Co., Ltd. was actively involved with the construction in advance, and participated in the whole process of installation of equipment; Moreover, it is requested to carry out the commissioning by taking customer-oriented policy. Furthermore, by taking heavy responsibilities and making commitment to the tasks, the working team which takes the consistent responsibilities and the working team in charge of the starting operation for each machine unit took the quick-response measures to overcome many difficulties in technologies. Meanwhile, it also pushed forward the personnel training plan and preparation works for production simultaneously.
Thanks to all the working staff's devotion and hard working, so far, the installation of machine unit, stand-alone test run, and cold test run in the 3rd-phase project of oriented silicon steel line had been fully completed, it have successfully entered the stage of hot load test. According to the preliminary statistics show, the function of the machine unit is in normal condition, the precision meets the requirement, stability in process, the quality of product reaches up to the standard.
