Good weather and lighter evening have driven sales of outdoor toys this Easter, says the retailer.
Sales of outdoor toys rocketed by around 95 per cent thanks to good weather and lighter evenings this Easter, according to High Street retailer Argos.
The group reports that in the last week, sales of trampolines have increased by around 95 per cent when compared to the same week last year, as the retailer sees Brits take advantage of the inclement weather.
“It’s no surprise to see that trampolines have been a popular choice with customers this last week, as the weather has been great,” said Lauren Slater, outdoor toys buyer at Argos.
“The lighter evenings mean that families can spend more time enjoying their gardens and having fun outside.
“Outdoor trampolines are a great way for all the family to exercise and bouncing helps to improve balance, co-ordination and agility.”
