GAZ Group has unveiled new Vecto-3 and LiAZ-4292 medium bus models at the Bus World-2015 exhibition being held in Kolomna, Russia.
Designed for operations at low passenger flow routes, the Vecto-3 and LiAZ-4292 buses' serial production is planned to commence this year.
The company also launched Cruise tourist bus at the event.
Featuring high maneuver capability and smaller dimensions, the Vector-3 small city and suburban bus is designed on Isuzu chassis and can accommodate 33 passengers.
The vehicle's efficient economic features include low fuel consumption, maintenance frequency of 15000km, availability of spare parts, balanced lifetime of the body and powertrain.
Capable of carrying 75 passengers, the 9.5m-long Low-floor LiAZ-4292 low-floor city bus features YaMZ E5 diesel engine, video surveillance, fire extinguishing system, digital tachograph and GLONASS navigation equipment.
Designed in compliance with E5 standard, the Cruise bus can accommodate 45 passengers and can be used for long tourist and intercity routes.
The bus features double glazing, climate control, cruise control, onboard computer, digital tachograph, electronic side window heating, Opticruise automatic gearbox control drive and safety belts.
Additionally, the bus has options for fire extinguishing of the engine and luggage compartments, fog sensors in the passenger compartment, five video surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi, onboard navigation and communication terminal that assures connection with the traffic control station, among others.
