Matakina Volpara Breast Density Software Will Be Distributed by Sectra

Sectra has entered into an agreement to distribute Matakina International's Volpara breast density software.

The Volpara Software, which is fully integrated with Sectra Breast Imaging PACS, will provide Sectra customers an objective way to standardize breast density assessment and integrate into their clinical workflow.

Web-based, multi-modality Sectra Breast Imaging PACS features advanced diagnostic tools including integrated CAD and reporting, to provide a single-system reading environment for mammographers.

Sectra president Mikael Anden said, "Adding powerful software solutions to our Breast Imaging PACS will allow our users to maximize their mammography investment by providing all necessary tools on one workstation."
