Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor (TMC) has reported 132.5% rise in its domestic sales during May 2012 to 117,638 units in the country over the same period a year ago.
Toyota has also recorded 85.5% rise in vehicle sales to 758,628 units during January-May 2012.
The company's domestic production and production outside Japan increased 155.8% and 170% to 274,811 and 486,960 units respectively during the period, when compared to last year.
Exports of Toyota increased 291.4% to 165,630 units during the period, reporting tenth consecutive month of increase.
Toyota has also reported164.7% rise in its worldwide production to 761,771units during May and reported 61.2% rise to 3,849,353 units during the initial five months of 2012.
