Audi has released details of its upcoming TT Roadster and TTS Roadster ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.
The TT Roadster will be available in two turbocharged four-cylinder TDI and TFSI engines which will be capable of producing between 184hp and 310 hp.
The TTS Roadster will be launched with TFSI engine which can produce up to 310 hp and pump up to 280.3 lb ft of torque, and the car will be capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds.
Both the cars are two-seater, but the TT Roadster will be 21 millimeters shorter than its predecessor.
The fabric hood in the car is capable of retracting in 10 seconds which has been designed to save weight.
The virtual cockpit in both the cars is the same as that present in TT coupé and it will also feature Audi's Drive Select system.
The TT Roadster is expected to go on sale in November while the company has not decided the date for the release of the TTS Roadster, but it is expected to hit the roads in the middle of 2015.
AUDI Board Member for Technical Development Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg said: "The concept of designing a compact roadster following clear geometrical rules formed the original idea for the Audi TT in autumn 1994."
"With the new TT Roadster, we have developed this concept in a consistent manner and further improved the technical experience in the car with innovations such as the Audi virtual cockpit."
