Ford India has reported the sale of 11,209 units in December 2013, up by 3%, compared to the sales of the same period in 2012.
The total sales include domestic wholesales and exports. Exports of the company were at 5338 units in December, compared to 4382 units a year earlier.
Besides this, the carmaker also reported the sale of 119,715 cars throughout the year including domestic wholesales and exports.
These sales were supported by an expanding product lineup launched in 2013, which includes Figo Celebration edition, the Endeavour Alterrain edition and the all-new Ford EcoSport in India.
Exports of the automotive firm increased totaled 39,284 vehicles throughout 2013, up 29%, compared to 2012.
Ford India marketing, sales and service executive director Vinay Piparsania said: "With several months of sustained sales performances and Ford EcoSport recognized with major awards in its debut year, we are excited to conclude the year with our products finding greater acceptance from customers and media."
Ford currently exports vehicles from India to over 40 destinations including South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Taiwan.
