Leading security products supplier, ESP, has added to its growing range of External Area Protection systems with a wirefree version of its award-winning GuardCam.
GuardCam WF provides an ideal solution for the surveillance and protection of external areas around domestic or light commercial properties. Images are captured by wirefree CCTV cameras built into PIR controlled security lighting units and digitally transmitted to a choice of indoor receivers with integral SD card recording and comprehensive user controls.
GuardCam WF operates on a secure stable 2.4ghz frequency featuring latest FHSS digital technology to eradicate interference from other wirefree devices and provide excellent range - up to 150m open field with impressive image quality.
Activity can be continuously viewed and recorded or triggered automatically by on screen movement which can also provide an optional audio alert for occupants if required. Recorded encrypted images can be transferred to a PC or laptop for distribution if required using the bespoke software provided.
Up to four transmitters (GuardCam WF-T) can be paired to a single receiver (GuardCam WF-MR) with built in 7 inch screen or (GuardCam WF-SAR) for direct connection to a television.
Since launch in 2010, GuardCam has proven to be a popular, cost-effective security solution. However GuardCam-WF provides users with a number of improvements. Instead of having to physically remove the SD Card from the camera unit (requiring a climb up a ladder) to view the images captured, users have the ability to constantly view activity from within the property. The convenient location of the SD card within the receiver also makes for quick and easy access if image transfer is required.
One of the most popular features of the GuardCam range is that they don’t appear to be cameras. Users - especially in domestic installations - may not wish to create a high security prison look to their home. However they are happy to have socially acceptable security lights installed. This semi covert nature of the GuardCam range also fools the intruder. A natural reaction is to look toward the source of a triggered light and therefore also directly into the camera.
