Innovia Films has produced its first top-coated BOPP label films that are proven to be food contact compliant under EU and FDA regulations.
According to Innovia Films, UltraFoil CFA (clear) and WFA (white) films maximise the aesthetics of foiled areas of the label giving brand owners’ shelf impact for their products and additional options regarding imagery and branding, without adversely affecting the overall cost of the final printed label.
Alasdair McEwen, product manager for labels at Innovia Films, said the pressure sensitive label (PSL) value chain is under the spotlight, with retailers, brand-owners and consumers expecting labels to meet the same regulations as traditional food packaging.”
