Amazon is developing the non-fiction book, Toy Wars, into a TV series.
Toy Wars follows the story of Alan Hassenfeld's rise to become the CEO of Hasbro, and the show will focus on Hassenfeld's 'struggle to balance the demands of the bottom line with his ideals about the kind of toys children deserve'.
The series, helmed by Gossip Girl co-creator Josh Schwartz, will also focus on the rivalry between Hasbro and Mattel in the 1980s and 1990s, and is set to star Frozen star Josh Gad, according to Deadline.
Journalist and novelist Wayne Miller wrote Toy Wars after five years of unprecedented access to Hasbro, sitting in on meetings and interviewing employees.
