Car navigation manufacturer TomTom Company announced recently, the company will provide HD Traffic Service for Toyota’s next-generation Touch&GO navigation and Information and entertainment system launched in Europe.
Charles Cautley, the managing director of TomTom, said: “It’s very glad to expand the cooperation with Toyota Motor and provide HD Traffic Service for European customers. Our HD Traffic Service will help several million car drivers reach the destination more conveniently.”
TomTom Company will offer HD Traffic Service to Toyota Motor Europe from January, 2014. The cooperation covers 27 countries like UK, Germany, France, Russia, Italy, Hungary, and Ireland and so on.
According to the financial report released last month, TomTom Company’s revenue of the fourth quarter dropped 19% year on year, which was Euro 289 million. The full year revenue in 2012 reached Euro 1.06 billion, down 17% compared to Euro 1.27 billion of 2011.
