The first wave of Attacknids and Singalongz will hit the Australian and New Zealand market this year.
Both Wow Stuff product lines will be first unveiled to the public at the Australian Toy, Hobby and Nursery Fair which takes place from Sunday, March 3rd through to Wednesday, March 6th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Wow Stuff signed a multi-million pound distribution deal with one of Australia’s largest toy companies, Modern Brands, toward the end of last year.
The deal gave the Australian company exclusive rights to both The Attacknids and Singalongz in Australia and New Zealand.
And retailers Down Under have already "jumped on board".
Modern Brands will launch the MK1 Attacknids in the coming months (these hit UK stores last year), while the MKII Attacknids will roll out in Australia and New Zealand later in 2013, at the same time as the rest of the world.
Simon Whiston, MD of Modern Brands, commented: "I haven’t seen such a well thought out brand and product plan in the toy industry for years. The new lines coming out later in 2013 are simply stunning and will own a dominant position in the boy’s action category across our territories.
"We are duplicating Wow Stuff’s business plan, TV advertising and live retailer Battle Arena events, and have no doubt whatsoever that the Attacknid will be the must have boys toy for Australia and New Zealand consumers in 2013."
