Chevrolet, a subsidiary of the US based automobile manufacturer General Motors, has reported total sales of 7,502 vehicles during October 2013, a slight increase over September sales, in Southeast Asia.
Of the total sales, Chevrolet has reported sale of 499 units in the Philippines, up by 38% in October and 66% year-on-year (YOY) increase.
The company's SUV model - Trailblazer - has reported high sales with 274 units sold in the country.
Chevrolet Indonesia has sold 2,351 units in October, up by 30%, compared to the sales of September 2013 and, 490% increase, over the sales of same period in 2012.
With a 20% increase over September sales, the Spin model led the sales with 1,680 units sold in October.
The carmaker also sold 4,231 vehicles in Thailand in October, with its Colorado model leading the sales with 1,956 units followed by the Sonic, which sold 1,204 units.
Other models including the Trailblazer with 406 units, Captiva with 343 units, Cruze with 180 units and Spin with 130 units have contributed to the sales.
Chevrolet Sales Thailand and GM Southeast Asia Operations sales, marketing and aftersales vice president Gustavo Colossi said: "We continue to see a positive trend in Chevrolet's market share throughout the region in the midst of what is probably the most competitive environment we've seen in a long time."
