Argos to 'Help Discover The Toy Talent of Tomorrow' at Inventors Workshop

The toy retail giant has signed up as major sponsor for the event taking place this September 20th at Norhtamptonshire's Whittlebury Hall.

Retail giant Argos has placed its flag firmly in the ground when it comes to helping the industry discover the toy talent of tomorrow.

The firm has detailed its excitement at playing a major part in the upcoming ToyNews Inventors Workshop by securing headline sponsorship of the event taking place this September 20th. 

An event that brings together leading inventors, distributors, retailers and investors in the toy industry, the Inventors Workshop is billed as the destination to discover new ideas and stay at the forefront of innovation in toys.

And Argos is keen to come on board, with the retailer’s top toy specialists joining the panel of experts listening to pitches and helping discover the best of new British toy talent.

Around 100 toy and board game designers will present their ideas to renowned toy specialists to try and further their dream of making it big in the £3bn UK toy industry.

Speakers at this year’s event include Radio 1 DJ and Xtra Factor host Matt Edmondson, a prolific board game designer and inventor of hit game Obama Llama, Dragon’s Den darlings and publishing phenomenon Lost My Name will also be presenting as will Kickstarter’s Heather Corcoran.
