Mazda Has Reported 37.8% Rise in Its Domestic Sales in April

Japanese carmaker Mazda has reported 37.8% rise in its domestic sales in April 2012 to 13,446 units when compared to the same month in 2012, contributed by strong sales of its passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda has also reported 30.6% rise in its domestic sales to 82,068 vehicles during the first three months of 2012.

The carmaker's global production rose 51.1% to 93,703 units in April 2012 and has also reported 14.5% rise to 402,711 units during the initial three months of 2012, when compared to the corresponding periods in 2011.

According to the company, its exports in April 2012 rose 114.6% to 44,218 vehicles and has also recorded 14.6% rise in exports to 210,588 vehicles during the initial three months of 2012.

The company said that the rise in its exports was due to the rise in transportation to North America, Europe and Oceania among many others.
