Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the 21st consecutive month (since February 2012), setting an all-time monthly record. This includes all-time monthly records for production in North America, USA, Asia, and China.
Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since August 2013), setting an all-time monthly record.
Honda's automobile sales in the Japanese market for the month of October 2013 experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since August 2013).
New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month (since September 2013).
Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the 22nd consecutive month (since January 2012).
Fit was the industry's top-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of October 2013 with sales of 23,281 units. Step WGN was the industry's ninth best-selling car with sales of 5,304 units. Freed was the industry's 10th best-selling car with sales of 4,881 units.
N BOX was the industry's top-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of October 2013 with sales of 17,599 units. N-ONE was the industry's ninth best-selling car with sales of 5,522 units.
Total exports from Japan in October 2013 experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since August 2013).
