This Aberdeen casual dining group in Magnussen’s new casual dining program has a blue stone top, rustic cherry finish and is made of pine veneer and hardwood solids.
HIGH POINT — Occasional and bedroom specialist Magnussen Home Furnishings plans to unveil a casual dining program at next week's High Point Market.
The line is designed to offer casual yet transitional lifestyle home trends. An eclectic mix of sets includes a number of natural and rustic looks.
The program includes eight collections at moderate price points. Table groups can work as traditional matching sets or can be mixed - along with upholstered, metal and acrylic chairs - for a distinctive look.
Each group offers a rectangular table with extension leaves, coordinating chairs and various storage pieces including china cabinets, servers with hutch options, and shelving storage units with casters for mobility.
Round tables with extension leaves will be offered in some collections and bench seating configurations will be offered as an additional seating option.
Sizes accommodate smaller dining spaces with rectangular tables ranging from 60 to 78 inches in length. Smaller curios and server configurations will also be offered.
Some pieces include lighting in hutch storage units, multiple drawer and shelf configurations for servers and china cabinets, mirrors in servers and hutches and storage shelving units with casters.
Styles cover a broad range including casual, modern, traditional, rustic and transitional and are constructed of traditional cherry veneers as well nontraditional acacia and pine veneers along with hardwood solids.
Finishes include rustic rubbed pine, dry gray acacia, rustic cherry, merlot and natural acacia.
Company officials view casual dining as a category on the rise.
"We think this is a category that will line up well with our logistics program and fills a need in the marketplace for more eclectic casual dining options and will give our sales team a broader offering," company President Nathan Cressman said in a press release.
Groups will be moderately priced with a five-piece set retailing from $699 to $999 and servers retailing from $699 to $999.
Items are produced in Vietnam and can be shipped as part of Magnussen's QuickFlex 250 program, which allows multiple groups to mix on a single container with master bedrooms and Next Generation bedroom groups.
