Skoda has announced that it has started the production of the next generation Octavia Scout at its Mladá Boleslav plant in Czech Republic, and the car is expected hit the stores at the end of August 2014.
The new range of the all-rounder vehicle is expected to be more versatile than the previous versions and will sport a rugged look.
Octavia Scout will be more powerful than its predecessors, but Skoda has designed this car to reduce emission and fuel consumption by 20% when compared to the previous versions of the Octavia.
According to Skoda, the new Octavia will offer ample space and advanced comfort system making it suitable for leisure use.
The car also features advanced safety system for complete protection of the passengers.
It features Haldex-clutch-based all-wheel drive, increased ground clearance, powerful engines and can carry up to 2 tonnes of weight.
