General Motors has unveiled the 2014 Buick Regal, a revamped version of the Regal, at the 2013 New York International Auto Show held in the US.
The car is made available with two engine variants including Regal GS and Regal Turbo as well as an all wheel drive (AWD) function.
Regal GS variant of the vehicle is powered by a four cylinder 2.4L engine paired with six-speed automatic transmission that generates an output of 182hp and 172lbft of torque.
The Regal Turbo version is equipped with a four cylinder 2L engine with six-speed automatic transmission that delivers an output of 259hp and 295lbft of torque, which is claimed by the manufacturer to be 18% more than the prior model.
Added features of the vehicle include rear cross traffic alert, lane change alert, side blind zone alert, lane departure warning, forward collision alert and collision mitigation braking.
The car comes with adaptive cruise control, new front and rear styling, signature wing-shape LED daytime running lamps, LED tail-lamps along with redesigned central instrument panel and console.
