Two Brothers Brewing is set to expand its brewery with four new 200 barrel fermenters, developed by US-based Paul Mueller, before the end of 2013.
Earlier Paul Mueller has developed six fermenters currently in use and a bright tank, where the brewery matures its beer and naturally carbonates through secondary fermentation.
The brewery will have 800 barrels of fermentation space with the addition of these new tanks, which will increase their cellar space 30%.
Two Brothers Brewing also plans to install a new centrifuge for the beginning of 2014. This centrifuge is under construction by GEA Westfalia of Germany.
Two Brothers Brewing head brewer Jeremy Bogan said that there are almost too many improvements to list about this new machine.
"The centrifuge was developed specifically for the beverage industry. Alaskan Brewing has the same machine, which they've been using for about eight months," Bogan added.
"And New Glarus has a similar machine, but it is belt driven. We've been looking forward to this piece of equipment for some time."
