Functional foods manufacturer JW Nutritional has opened a new manufacturing facility at Plano in Texas, US.
The new 130,000ft2 facility has been developed to exclusively produce company's protein powders.
JW Nutritional intends to start the production at the facility later this month.
JW Nutritional president and founder Jesse Windrix said: "This is an exciting milestone for us, as we now boast over 130,000 square feet of space with the addition of our new facility.
"We're now able to bring our customers the same service with their protein products that they were already receiving from us out of our capsule and tablet facility."
JW Nutritional quality director Dragos Alevizache said: "Obtaining our NSF certificate shows our continued push for quality and affirms, beyond any doubt, that our products are fully compliant with all regulatory requirements."
The company noted that it provided turnkey product development with formula R&D, ingredient-sourcing, packaging, label design, and fulfillment since 2004.
JW Nutritional also provides private formulas for vitamins, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, and nutritional supplements.
In addition, the company offers flavored powders for sport supplements, weight loss and general health products.
