Protech Chemicals Ltd. of Montreal, Canada has reached an agreement with NPA Coatings, a subsidiary of Nippon Paints Japan, to acquire the Seibert powder coatings business. Protech will continue the manufacturing operations in Cleveland, Ohio.
David Ades, managing director of Protech, noted: “The acquisition of NPA’s powder business allows us to expand into new markets, particularly the automotive sector in which NPA is a leader. We are committed to maintaining the well-earned reputation that NPA has built over the past twenty years."
