Mobicip, the most popular cloud-based parental control and internet filtering service for smartphones, tablets and computers, announced support for Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system today.
"Families, schools and businesses have a heterogenous mix of devices and computers today," says Suren Ramasubbu , co-founder and CEO of Mobicip. "Creating and managing a safe internet environment across devices and platforms is no mean task for parents and administrators. Adding a Windows 8 edition is yet another milestone in our effort to help create a safety net that protects anytime anywhere."
A parent or administrator can enable Mobicip for Windows 8 and map a filtering profile to each user on the system. Once set up, all internet traffic for that user will be filtered by Mobicip, regardless of the browser or the network used.
