Honda’s luxury car division Acura has delayed the launch of its 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid due to some technical issues with the car.
The car was originally introduced in 2013 and was set to go on sale this spring.
Issues with the vehicle's lithium-ion battery shortages or Super-Hand All-Wheel Drive system are reportedly the reasons for delaying the launch, but the company has not officially confirmed anything yet.
Featuring a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, the car has an output of 377hp, with fuel economy estimates of 32mpg highway and 28mpg city.
WardsAuto quoted Acura senior vice president and general manager Mike Accavitti as saying: "I can tell you that it just hasn't met with our expectations yet."
