Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has attached a price tag starting at $29,995 for its third-generation, three-row mid-sized SUV 2016 Pilot, armed with direct injected 3.5-liter i-VTEC engine.
With the engine capable of adding 30 horsepower through an EPA combined fuel-economy rating of 23 MPG with nine-speed automatic transmission, the i-VTM4 AWD system offers an all-wheel drive with traction suitable for various road conditions.
The vehicle also claims to flaunt a spacious third row and cargo area, along with arrangements for plugging in smartphones, iPads, game consoles and digital video cameras.
Honda Division senior vice president and general manager Jeff Conrad said: "The 2016 Pilot takes full advantage of Honda's packaging expertise to deliver the outstanding, family-friendly cabin space that has made Pilot such a popular choice of family SUV buyers.
"This third-generation Pilot reaches higher into the premium end of the three-row SUV market than ever before with a new line-topping Elite model that will give us an even stronger foothold at the upper end of the midsize SUV segment."
The new avatar, designed and developed by Honda R&D Americas, in Los Angeles and Ohio, is made at Honda manufacturing unit of Alabama. It also features Honda Sensing advanced safety and driver-assistive application.
