New Zealand-based labeling company Jenkins Group has announced plans to set up a new regional hub in Tauranga.
The company already has a branch at Mount Maunganui in New Zealand and will build a 2000m2 facility, which is expected to be operational by August 2013.
Jenkins Group managing director Tony Sayle said the new facility was stage one of the company's expansion plans.
"Designs for the facility are in the final stages and these will go for consent and tendering before Christmas," Sayle said.
The proposed facility would become the center for sales and service to customers throughout the region and also be the manufacturing base for Sinclair fruit labels and related products that are supplied nationwide.
