It is reported that Kosovo's Llamkos GalvaSteel planned to restart its hot-dip galvanized sheet production of in March after two months temporary shutdown during January-February.
Meanwhile, the company has purchased approximately 5,000 tons of CRC from a Turkish supplier and to process at Llamkos galvanizing line in Vushtrri.
However, the company also indicated that to buy CRC from nearby Serbian mill Smederevo which is the best supplier for Llamkos with only 48 hours delivery time via railway compared with 10-15 days from Turkey and three months from China respectively.
In addition, the company expects to the market demand to improve this year.
