Viewing that total capacity of distributed PV systems installed around China so far in 2014 is far less than its 2014 target, China's National Energy Administration (NEA) plans to adjust subsidies from the original requirement that generated power be for own use first and then the remaining could be fed on grid at a specified feed-in rate, to an option of having all generated power on grid, according to China-based media reports.
In addition, NEA plans to hike feed-in rates for distributed PV systems and lower those for ground-mounted stations, and broaden the scope of distributed PV systems from only those installed on rooftops, to include ground-mounted systems installed on farmland and land in remote areas.
