August Schell Brewing Is Releasing The Latest Stag Series Beer,No.7-American Barleywine

US-based The August Schell Brewing is releasing the latest Stag Series beer, No. 7- American Barleywine.

Each 100 bbl brew includes two mashes of about 6,000 pounds of malt and 150 pounds of hops, which will be fermented with an American Ale yeast and will be aged for more than three months.

The new stag includes high alcohol with 9.5% ABV and good amounts of citrusy American hops.

The Barleywine will be launched on 28 February 2013, reports nujournal.com.

The other six Stag brews in the row includes Wine Barrel Aged Schmaltz's Alt, Wild Rice Farmhouse Ale, Rauchbier, Burton Ale, Czech Dark and Citra Pils.

Since 2010, Schell has brewed different beers, which includes styles such as 1878 Einbecker Doppelbock, Roggenbier, the 1905 V.T. (Vacuum Tonic), Bavarian Forest Dampfbier, and the Hopfenmalz.
