Tek Shing Recalls 'beijing Lui Biju Food Co Ltd Sesame Paste' From Asian Grocery Stores

Tek Shing Trading Recalls Chinese Sesame Paste Over Labeling ErrorTek Shing Trading is recalling 'Beijing Lui BiJu Food Co Ltd Sesame Paste' from Asian grocery stores, as they contain peanut which is not mentioned on the label, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) said.

The product being recalled is Beijing Lui BiJu Food Co Ltd Sesame Paste of 300g, featuring best before 22 SEP 2014.

Produced in China, the implicated product was sold at Asian grocery stores in New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory.

Consumers intolerant to peanuts should not eat this product as it may result in a reaction, if they consume the product, and can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

This recall comes after Sakata Rice Snacks Australia recalled Sakata Paws Original packs, as they contained Sakata Paws Pizza Supreme flavored rice snacks.
