Xactware and Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) have signed an agreement to launch AER Benchmark for XactAnalysis, the comprehensive address-specific hail and lightning history database.
AER Business Solutions senior vice president Kyle Beatty said that the benchmark database and XactAnalysis claims management solution integration will enable property/casualty carriers to benefit from the property-specific weather archive.
Xactware XactAnalysis vice president KC Agrelius said, "Now, with AER Benchmark for XactAnalysis, claims managers can request address-specific hail and lightning reports at the time a new claim assignment is reported to XactAnalysis so that claims teams can quickly validate the date and cause of loss of each claim."
Claims managers and handlers can identify potential damage or fraud occurred by accessing on-demand hail, wind, and lightning reports from within their XactAnalysis claims workflows, when integrated with the database.
The benchmark database features AER Respond to provide weather radar and other sources derived near-real-time high-resolution data analysis to identify locations of damage-producing hail, wind, rain, hurricane, tornado, and wildfire perils.
