eMaint Enterprises Is Set to Participate in The 20th Annual SMRP Conference

eMaint Enterprises, a world leader in cloud-based maintenance management systems, is set to participate in the 20th Annual SMRP Conference from October 15-18, 2012, in Orlando Florida. Carl Shultz, Business Development Executive at eMaint, is the Track Chair of the conference and Gene Pargas, Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Assad Reichdan, Senior Customer Enablement Manager, will be presenting a workshop on "CMMS: The Road to Success Everything from Selection to Implementation and Beyond."

"eMaint is very happy to be participating in one of the largest and most respected maintenance and reliability conferences in the country," said Brian Samelson, CEO and President at eMaint. "It will be a great experience for our team to showcase some of our premier industry thought leaders."

As Track Chair of the conference, Mr. Schultz will be responsible for the coordination of Track Lead teams and the review of all presentations for the five tracks that encompass the BoK (Body Of Knowledge) and the CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) program for a total of 6 tracks of presentations over two days. Mr. Schultz, a 10 year active SMRP member, has been nominated and selected as conference co-chair of the 2013 SMRP Conference.

Mr. Pargas' and Mr. Reichdan's workshop will provide valuable lessons for those planning a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) implementation or expanding or revitalizing an existing maintenance program regardless of the industry CMMS or facilities maintenance software being used. They will share detailed real-world examples drawn from both personal experiences in maintenance leadership as well as from hundreds of successful implementations.

The workshop will review best practices for implementation planning including auditing of current business processes, validating, collecting and converting data, getting buy in, defining key roles and assembling a team. World class maintenance best practices in asset maintenance management, planning and optimizing PMs, incorporating PdM processes, and inventory planning will also be shared. Additional workshop topics include integrating with external systems, helping your workforce to "go mobile," monetizing and measuring results, and incorporating continuous reliability and improvement projects.

The conference will feature a job fair, educational workshops and track sessions and multiple facilities tours. Keynote Speaker Alison Levine, Team Captain of the first American women's Everest Expedition and adjunct professor for the US military academy will be drawing parallels between staying alive in the mountains and thriving in a fast-paced business world, focusing on the topics of leadership, teamwork, overcoming odds, taking responsible risks, and dealing with changing environments.
