Label converter in France Stratus Packaging has invested in an all-Esko digital flexo solution, which includes a CDI Spark 4835 with HD Flexo technology.
For automated flexo plate production and accurate plate cutting, the company also installed Esko's Digital Flexo Suite for Labels with a Kongsberg XN cutting table.
According to Esko, the latest investment offers Stratus Packaging with a combination of speed and quality that will provide it with new business possibilities.
Stratus Packaging CEO Isidore Leiser said HD Flexo and the CDI will help the company enhance the print quality of its labels.
"The speed of the CDI and the streamlined plate cutting process using the Kongsberg table and Digital Flexo Suite will also help us reduce turnaround times and meet shorter deadlines," Leiser said.
The investment is a first step in Stratus Packaging's €10m investment program, which further plans to upgrade most of its printing equipment, over the next five years.
