Milan-based Thermore S.p.A., a manufacturer of thermal insulation, has launched Thermore Pro for outdoor apparel applications. Features of the insulation, which is made with 50 percent recycled fiber, include softness, warmth, water repellency and a uniform structure. Thermore Pro has been tested to be free of perfluorooctanoic acid and perfluorooctane sulfonate, according to the company.
In other company news, Thermore reports that a number of brands have selected its insulation for use in their products. These brands include Hackett London, Museum and EA7 Emporio Armani, which have selected Thermore Ecodown for their collections; Colmar, Woolrich John Rich & Bros. and Zegna Sport, which have selected Thermore Classic; Dondup, which has selected Thermore Washproof; and Geox, which has selected Thermore Rinnova.
