American food company Heinz has added new breakfast cereal sachets range to its baby food line in the UK. The range includes two varieties - Creamy Oat Porridge and Sunrise Banana.
Designed for toddlers aged four months and above, each 30g sachet offers two individual easy-to-make servings and a third of the key vitamins and minerals, the company stated.
Heinz claimed that its cereals contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Heinz Infant Feeding brand manager Laure Gentil said that the company launched the new cereal format following a research.
"By creating cereal sachets that offer one to two meal servings, mums don't need to worry about trying to reseal the sachet to retain the freshness of the flavour," Gentil added.
The new breakfast cereal sachets are priced at POUND 0.79 each. Heinz holds a 45.4% value share in the Infant Feeding Category dry food, including cereals market worth POUND 30m.
