Menasha Packaging, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation has acquired the US-based contract packaging company Rand Diversified for an undisclosed sum.
Menasha Corporation president and CEO Jim Kotek said the acquisition of Rand will broaden the company's market penetration and increase its offerings in contract packaging and fulfillment areas for over-the-counter pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
"We believe there is an excellent strategic fit between the companies and that the added design, project management and operating expertise will allow us to provide an offering to the market that is unequalled," Kotek said.
According to Menasha Packaging, the company will now have 16 fulfillment operations in eight US states.
Rand Diversified focuses on the design, procurement and packaging/fulfillment of temporary, permanent and mixed-media displays and contract packaging.
