Vintage Italia Has Secured New Equity Boost From Private Equity Firm Silas Capital

Pasta snacks producer Vintage Italia has secured new equity boost from private equity firm Silas Capital, which will allow the company to kickstart the growth of its Pasta Chips brand

The company will use the capital in expanding distribution, introducing new products and engaging with snackers.

Vintage Italia founder Jerry Bello said: "We are delighted to have an experienced partner like Silas Capital helping us accomplish our mission; to provide first-of-its-kind snack foods to those who care not only about what they eat, but also about the sheer joy of snacking."

The company is aiming to expand Pasta Chips presence to 80% of all grocery stores across the US, while doubling sales this year.

Last year, Pasta Chips finished its first full year of business with significant sales.

Made with the semolina flour, ancient grains, and Italian herbs, Pasta Chips are claimed to be cholesterol-free, and contain 60% less fat than potato chips and 30% less fat than pita chips. They are available in Marinara, Alfredo, Spicy Tomato Basil, Garlic Olive Oil, Mediterranean Sea Salt, and Veggie flavors at major retailers across the US.
