Dunbia Northern Ireland, part of the Dunbia Group, is set to invest 27m to create a new intelligent boning hall and upgrade the company's beef mince line as well as diced & burger line at its Tyrone meat processing plant.
The company's latest capital investment is expected to increase overall productivity levels and support export growth, and further create 209 jobs over the next three years.
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster said: "Dunbia is investing in innovative technology and production processes to enable it to maximise the return on its resources and remain cost-competitive.
"The new boning hall will help the company achieve improved butchery efficiencies and economies of scale while the installation of new production lines, using the most modern automated retail butchery, will increase retail packing efficiencies."
