UK-based Appy Food & Drink is all set to launch a new range of kids juice drinks featuring Nickelodeon characters in Tetra Pak cartons with interactive digital technology.
Consumers can use their smartphones to scan the back of the cartons and collect fun props, such as items of clothing worn by the Nickelodeon characters.
Appy Food & Drinks director and co-founder Bobby Patel said the interactive technology used on the carton will make drinking the juice a fun activity.
"Tetra Pak was our first choice for the range, primarily because the cartons provide a large printable surface area - essential for us as we needed plenty of room to showcase the digital element of our drinks," Patel said.
Users can download the Appy Drink App, which is available for free from Google Play and Apple app store, and can store the props in a digital album on their phone.
The drinks, which will be offered in orange & pineapple, apple & blackcurrant and tropical vitamin boost flavors, will be available in the Tetra Brik Aseptic 200ml carton with straw.
