ECOlunchbox has announced the launch of new plastic-free and ocean-friendly Blue Water Bento lunchware collection.
Made from non-toxic stainless steel, the new container has a food-grade silicone lid with an embossed blue wave.
The bento lunch box is said to coordinate with three Blue Water Bento organic cotton lunch sacks featuring a blue whale, a green dolphin as well as an orange sea horse, according to the company.
ECOlunchbox founder Sandra Ann Harris said, "The toxins in plastic don't belong in our food, especially when it comes to kids."
The new bento container is expected to be available starting summer 2014 through the company's distribution network.
