Belgian beer brand Leffe has created a new glass design to improve tasting experience.
The new glass design which took 18 months of development is believed to enhance the experience of beer and gives drinkers a way to enjoy the optimum taste of Leffe.
It can enhance the colour of beer and improve the foam. There is a letter ‘L’ carved at the bottom of the glass, which is claimed to release bubbles continuously. This will let the foam head stay for longer duration.
The new glass also has a redesigned stem that has Leffe Abbey engraved in 3D. This engraving reaffirms Leffe’s heritage, while enhancing its present image. The stem lets the drinker hold the glass without warming the beer, thus keeping it cool for a long time.
The new glass lets beer drinkers relish the subtle scents and aromas of Leffe’s beer through its shape. The narrower opening will hold the aroma of the beer within.
Beer knowledge manager and educator Jonny Tyson said: “The new glass is not only appealing to the eye, but it also enhances the taste experience of Leffe, enabling drinkers to fully appreciate the quality of the beer.
“We are committed to driving excellence in every pour, allowing drinkers to savour each and every Leffe moment, and rediscover time.”
