CSA Group, a global product testing company, has bought lamp and luminaire testing firm Orb Optronix.
Orb Optronix, based in Kirkland, Washington, provides LED testing and measurement of discrete LEDs, LED array, LED light engines, LED replacement lamps and LED luminaires.
Orb Optronix has clients ranging from major LED manufacturing companies to early stage lighting projects that require next-generation SSL design solutions. It has 17 employees who will now become part of CSA Group's global workforce of 1,600 staff.
CSA Group is an independant, not-for-profit membership association that is well established in the United States with a site in Atlanta offering testing and certification services for electrical, mechanical, gas and other products.
