The Automotive Distribution Network announced its Auto Pride and CMB subsidiaries will be combined on Jan. 1, 2014, in order to develop greater marketing and product programs for respective affiliates at every level of distribution.
"This merger will enable our Network staff to create stronger, more unified programs, while providing improved support to our manufacturer partners," says Mike Lambert, president.
"We will maintain a shareholder and non-shareholder status for our members, who will continue to operate under the Parts Plus, IAPA, and Auto Pride brands."
As the result of the merger, The Network's Cora Roark has been promoted to director of Auto Pride and will be responsible for expanding the merged brand. "Cora had been responsible for the CMB Network division. Her success there makes us very confident in her ability to handle the new role," says Lambert.
The combined division will hold its annual membership meeting in Savannah, Ga., on April 14, 2014.
Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, IAPA, and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network says it is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
