Rovema, a Germany-based packaging firm, has purchased several buildings in Fernwald near Giessen as part of moving to a new headquarters, and is a repurchase of the assets sold to an Australian leasing firm.
Rovema managing director Thomas Becker said the decision to expand their current location rests only with them.
Structural changes and renovation to the purchased site would take place in Autumn.
Negotiations were held around the purchase price, though no financial details have been disclosed.
