Quintain Steel, one of the major wire product makers in Southern Taiwan posted financial loss for this October and November totaled NT$125.8 million.
In the first 11 months of this year, Quintain Steel posted loss of NT$395 million.
However, the company expected that the appreciating Taiwanese dollars will help to reduce its input cost since its billet sources are mainly from Brazil.
For the prospect, Quintain Steel expected that its sales in the first quarter of next year would rise as the wire prices have bottomed out in the Taiwanese market and the market demand may appear in early 2012.
