BMW to Recall Over 25000 Vehicles in China

German luxury car makers BWM announced that sales in 2013 will set a new record in China and will recall over 25000 defective cars in China next year.

BMW has recalled 25,254 cars this year due to a energy assisted braking system defect.

Bureau of Quality Supervision said that the recalled BMW cars are made by Briliance BMW, a joint venture formed by BMW Moto and Brilliance Auto.

The recalled cars included 125i, 320i, 520i, 528i, X1, X3 and Z4 ranges.

BMW said earlier that auto sales in China market increased by over 20% in the past 9 months, setting a news recod.

China automobile market increased by 12.7% this year and BMW global sales increased only by 9%.
