On the influence of market downturn, Nissan Motor plans to start 4 day’s working system in St Petersburg factory, Russia from February 1.
According to AEBRUS’s data, Russian light car total sales were 2,935,111 in 2012, up 10.6% on the basis of 2,653,803 in 2011. However, in the last months of 2012, Russian light car grew slower, and the growth rate in December was only 0.6%.
Price Waterhouse Coopers said after a period of fast growth, Russian car market has become stable. It predicts that the growth rate will be slower in 2013 and the growth rate year on year will be 5%. The total sales will be about 2.9 million in 2013.
