At the same time, this project not only expands product application area but also achieve substantial breakthrough in overseas market.
As premium steel pipe product, nickel-based alloy tubing and casing products are included in national energy industry strategic commodities. The product is also high value-added and the market was monopolized by foreign companies formerly. In the past two years, Baosteel Special Material nickel-based alloy oil well pipe team strengthens "skills" and expands marketing simutaneously. After several years of hard work in product and market development, in particular last year's "overcoming of all obstacles", it keeps the leading position in the domestic market competition. In the first quarter of this year, BG2250 and BG2532 alloy oil well pipe completes more than 660 tons of storage and achieves over a hundred million of sales income, finishing the second quarter project goal in advance. The project team also focuses on product development and consistent system process technology optimization.
