Jaguar Land Rover has partnered with Nokia's HERE for InControl Touch Pro infotainment system on its Jaguar XF.
The InControl Touch Pro infotainment system is built on the HERE Auto platform, and is said to deliver real-time and relevant information by leveraging drivers' commuting patterns and preferences.
HERE Connected Driving vice president Floris van de Klashorst said: "Together with Jaguar Land Rover, we have developed a guidance system that we believe stands out in the industry.
"It combines the intuitiveness of a smartphone with the benefits of being deeply integrated into the car, with the result being an experience that we believe drivers will enjoy day in, day out."
The system on Jaguar XF synchronizes information from the driver's smartphone companion app or computer, to show up the trip route when drivers turn on the system in the car.
Connecting to HERE's location cloud will offer drivers with street level view of their destination as they near the end of their journey, and live traffic information will suggest alternative routes.
The InControl Touch Pro is installed with the Jaguar XF's in-car sensors, and connected to the HERE location cloud.
