Tata Steel Europe has invested 2.3 million Euro to upgrade its research facility at the company’s IJmuiden site in the Netherlands in order to develop ultra-high strength steels.
The ultra-high strength steels owns the advantage of crash-resistant, mainly designed for cars.
Meanwhile, Tata Steel Europe is currently working with the three major car manufacturers in Europe to know their exact requirements for the new cars.
